Dr. Lizotte received his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree (DDS) from the University of Alberta in 1990. He received the Dr. Cal Wadell Memorial Scholarship and the Ishiaku-Euroamerica Scholarship for academic excellence.

He is Past-President of the University of Alberta Dental Students Association

Dr. Lizotte completed a one year General Practice Residency at the University of Alberta Hospital in 1991.

He has been practicing with Jasper Avenue Dental (formerly Baker Centre Dental Associates) since 1991.

Dr. Lizotte has served on the Alberta Dental Association and College’s Mediation Committee and now serves on the Hearing Tribunal Committee.

From 1997 to 2001 he volunteered with Kindness in Action to provide dental care for a week in Guatemala and Honduras.

In 2001 Dr. Lizotte received a fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry for the successful completion of 500 hours of course work followed by a comprehensive examination.

He completed level three of the Alberta Dental Implant Academy in 2004.

In 2005 he became a member of the International Team for Oral Implantology (ITI) and the Academy of Osseointegration.

Dr. Lizotte is President-Elect of the Edmonton and District Dental Society.

A Rotarian since 1992, he received the Paul Harris Fellowship in 2002 for outstanding service. He is Past-President of the Rotary Club of Edmonton West.
